Another day is done and gone and you’re still not here. I’m still thinking that it’s wrong for you to be not here with me. Time is cruel it just moves on. Yet here I am standing still on the Wheel of Time – where you were mine and you were alive with light in your eyes. But now you’ve gone and I’m alone. This house is not a home now that you’ve gone.
We never thought that we could die and yet here we are. You weren’t meant long for this life. That never stopped you at all. Ashes to ashes dust to dust – who would have thought this would happen to us? On the Wheel of Time – where you were mine and you were alive with light in your eyes. But now you’ve gone and I’m alone. This house is not a home now that you’ve gone.
The grandfather clock sitting by the front door – it never makes much noise anymore. But twice a day it will tell the right time. And I’ll think of you on the Wheel of Time – where you were mine and you were alive with light in your eyes. But now you’re gone and I’m alone. This house is not a home now that you’ve gone.
