The final hour

In this final hour as I await my car and driver to transport me to the Cass County Courthouse, I feel butterflies bouncing around in my empty stomach. I spent the morning vomiting foam due to anxiety over facing rapist Aaron Michael Lamb in court. I am nervous… but I am not afraid.

He might be there with an attorney. He might be there representing himself. Or he might not show up at all – which the court would consider his failure to appear as an admission of guilt. That is what I hope for, but I am prepared to face him and whatever awful attorney was willing to take a convicted child abuser, molester, and rapist on as a client.

Whatever happens, I am prepared for the worst and hope for the best. Thank you all for your loving prayers, kinds words, and caring support!
