Today was a groundbreaking one for me as I finally took the plunge into writing my first screenplay intended for film. It is a story that has been brewing inside my mind for years and today it burst forth onto written pages – eighteen of them to be exact!

Black Mirror: Fifteen Million Merits

Today, I was preparing to write a review of one of my favorite episodes of the anthology series Black Mirror. The episode is titled “Fifteen Million Merits” and features the incredible acting talents of British actors Daniel Kaluuya and Jessica Brown Findlay. However, instead of writing my own review I would like to use my little slice of the internet to promote my new favorite YouTube vlogger LondonCityGirl.

Movie Review: The King’s Man

I had received a couple movie vouchers to my local theater for Christmas, so I decided to take myself out this afternoon. My intention was to see the latest Spiderman flick, but the showtime I wanted was sold out. On a whim (a very fortunate whim) I elected to see The King’s Man and while some movie reviews express a decline in the franchise, I was not the least bit disappointed. First of all, I had no idea The Kingsman is a franchise with prior films. Fortunately, this did not at all diminish my ability to follow the plot and enjoy the movie.

Movie Review: Our Souls At Night

“Our Souls at Night” is a beautiful Netflix Original film based on a novel by Kent Haruf. The story tells the tale of two older single adults living next door to one another in a small town and what happens when one of them (Addie played by Jane Fonda) has had enough loneliness and reaches out to her neighbor Louis (played by Robert Redford).
