Ketanji Brown Jackson is making history as the first black woman nominated to the Supreme Court of the United States. At just 51 years of age, this Harvard educated attorney from Miami is making her mark on American history.
As a woman and a feminist, I consider this to be an ardent victory for the United States. Recognizing this achievement is a fitting way to start Women’s History Month. Jackson has the experience and intelligence to sit on the Supreme Court and I hope the Senate swiftly approves her nomination.
